For Children in Nursery through Grade 5
We, as members of the Church of the Palms, seek to be a family in Christ. In addition to our mutual ministry to all age groups, we will focus on becoming an extended family to families*, and an extended family to winter residents in the greater Sarasota area, helping them to know Jesus Christ and more fully follow Him.
*Families are defined as single parent, blended,
and double parent homes - all loved by God.

Saturday Kids
Check out these fun-filled evenings for kids in grades 3-5! Cost: $5 per child per date includes activities and light dinner (Sleepover cost: $20). Deadline for registration is the Monday before the event. Additional forms are available at the Children's table or online. Call Debby or Laurie at 924-1323 for more information.
January 31 - 5-8 pm - Souper Bowl Dinner - Help feed the hungry and vote for your favorite team
February 28 - 5-8 pm - Friendship Party - Bring a friend and enjoy the party
March 28 - 5pm-9 am Starlight, Star Bright - Spring Sleepover
April 25 - 5-8 pm - Blow Ups & More - It'll be a bouncing good time for all

Students in 1st - 5th Grades will begin their day in the “Gathering Zone” (Chapel). Someone will be there to greet you by 8:50 a.m. From there your Guides will take you to your Zone for the day. Today we continue our rotation “Who is Jesus?”
1st Grade - Worship Zone - Chapel
2nd Grade - Exploration Zone - Room 205
3rd Grade - Edible Zone - Room 206
4th & 5th Grades - Rhythm Zone - Room 202
At 10:15 a.m. 1st & 2nd Graders will brought back to the Chapel for parent pick up. Students in 3rd - 5th Grades will be dismissed to meet your families in the Courtyard.

A Parent’s Night Out
August through May
For children ~ nursery up to & including Grade 2
Saturday, January 31 – 5:00-8:00 p.m. Nursery through Grade 2 - Rooms 101, 103, 105, 107. Includes light dinner - (Scholarships available) Please pre-register by January 26. Register at sign-up table between services on Sunday, or return registration form with $5.00 to the Church office. Registration forms are due the Monday before the event.

Kids Night Out
Saturday, January 31 (5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.)
Children in Grades 3-5 are invited to the annual cookie bake in the Campus Center. Cost: $10 includes dinner and cookies to take home. Forms may be found in the Education Office or under the tree. Call Debby Wendell, 924-1323, for more information.

MUSIC SCHEDULE
God’s Kids is a choir for children, ages Pre-K through Kindergarten. This year we’ll try something a little different. We’ll rehearse before Saturday Kids at 9:00 a.m. for a thirty minute rehearsal in the Music and Arts Building. We will learn to sing together, prepare songs to sing in church as well as have some musical fun. The choir will sing at the traditional service and also for the Contemporary Service.
Kids of the Kingdom is a choir open for all children first grade through fifth grade. This choir rehearses Sunday mornings from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. in the chapel. The children will share their talents in church once a month as well as for Contemporary service. A musical is being considered for the spring.
