Sunday Morning Sabbath for Youth
9:00 - 10:15 a.m., our Sunday School program, now called “Sunday Morning Sabbath,” will reflect our desire for youth to be refreshed, refocused, and renewed in the Lord. This ministry is offered to both middle and senior high students. We meet at the “Well” (Room 208/210) for worship and interaction before separating into age appropriate Bible study and discussion. Come join us.

Sunday Nights 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
ThirtyThree for senior high students kicks-off (Sunday, September 14). This is going to be an unforgettable night of peering into the future and asking “What if?” You don’t want to miss this incredible night, and invite a friend!
Faith in 3D - January 16-19
This is an opportunity for high school students to grow deeper in their faith and have a good time doing it. Contact Derek Thompson or Laurie Haas, 924-1323 to inquire about this trip.
Summer Mission Trip and Montreat Youth Conference
It is not too early to start planning for next summer, especially since we have two amazing experiences for our high school students. The first is a mission trip (June 21-27) and the second the Montreat Youth Conference (July 19-25). More information will be forthcoming for both of these experiences as well as fundraising initiatives. What is important to know is that we will begin signing students up for these trips in the fall and winter. Be on the lookout for more information.
LOVE146 Advocacy Project
Did you know that slavery still exists in our world today? Although it maybe hard to believe researchers estimate that there are currently 27 million people in slavery today. What is even more shocking is that small children as young as three years old are being bought and sold as commodities and then exploited. Even though the reality of child slavery is bleak, there still is hope. God is calling forth and sending out agents of hope to combat this dark reality. One of those agents of hope is LOVE146. LOVE146 is a grassroots organization that works against child slavery through prevention and aftercare. In February our youth will be sponsoring a one day event that raises awareness about child slavery and exploitation as well as the work of LOVE146. In leading up to the event we have formed a task force of both youth and adults that are learning more about the issues of child slavery as well as actively planning the event. Over the next several months you will be hearing more about LOVE146 as well as ways for our entire church family to participate. In the meantime there are two great ways to get involved. First you can learn more about LOVE146 by logging onto their website at www.love146.org. Secondly, you can pray for our task force as well as LOVE146. Thank you!
