We have received a wonderful letter as a result of our mission efforts in Kenya. It's good to know that the mission dollars that have been entrusted to us are getting to the people on the front lines!
Dear Friends at Church of the Palms,
With this note please receive our deep thanks for the investment you are making in Orma ministry through your gifts to the translation project and our personal support. We have been stunned speechless since we heard of it in the works, but must speak out our thanks now!
If you knew us, we might attribute this commitment to our good looks or sparkling personalities :) but since you don't , we know it is only GOD who saw our need & chose to meet it through you. Se we give him all the glory he deserves. He is truly magnificent!!
We will do our best to be good stewards of what you've entrusted to us. Because nearly all the Orma are Muslims, we partner closely with other missionaries who are using the translated word in Bible studies, kid's clubs, and private discussions. We are "behind the scenes," seeking to provide them a high-quality translation. We can never get it to them fast enough (they've been waiting years as it is!). So pray for us that Satan's obstacles will be torn down and we will have "smooth sailing" to finish the task.
