“Student Ministry sponsors three trips each summer, two for high school students, and one for middle school students. In 2012, high school students can participate in a mission trip to Chicago with the DOOR Network from June 10th to 15th. This trip focuses on learning, outreach, and assistance to existing organizations addressing urban poverty – food pantries, daycares, homeless shelters, etc. The second high school trip is a spiritual retreat in Montreat, N.C. from July 14th to 21st. The middle school Cedarkirk mission trip combines service projects with an introduction to poverty issues in a rural camp setting near Tampa. Cedarkirk takes place from June 24th to 29th.
