Our Food Pantry serves hundreds of families on a monthly basis, handing out produce and canned goods.
There are hundreds of volunteers working to provide love, support and comfort to their fellow parishioners.
We gather over meals, in grief support groups, in an addiction recovery group and in congregation wide gatherings to remind one another that: We are welcome. We are heard. We are loved. We are not alone.
We support Samaritan Counseling, in part, by housing them on our campus. They provide affordable, faith-based counseling services. Samaritan is a fully accredited, full service counseling facility. In operation since 1999, Samaritan is committed to helping people cope with their challenges, grow toward spiritual and emotional maturity and strengthen personal relationships. Their professional counselors are licensed by the state of Florida and specialize in treating a wide range of mental health conditions.

OUR DEACONS deliver Sunday worship flowers to those who are hospitalized, at care facilities and in their homes; they prepare baskets to welcome new born babies; organize Bell Ringing and Angel tree programs during Advent season; host a bi-annual birthday luncheon for our 90+ year old members; and deliver flowers at Easter time and Advent season to 100+ people who no longer are able to attend worship.
OUR HOME COMMUNION SERVING TEAM serves communion to our homebound members.
OUR VISITATION MINISTRY TEAM visits those who are in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities.
The PRAYER SHAWL KNITTING GROUP meets on the 4th Monday of the month at 10:30 am in the Chapel Reception Room. They create shawls for those who are sick, dying and grieving; and knit baby blankets for new children to be baptized at our church.

In our busy connected lives we’re often desperate for real, authentic connection. Helping to create and facilitate those connections is a fundamental part of who we are and what we do at Church of the Palms.
Whether it’s through a small group, a re-occurring dinner, a special event, or a Sunday morning class, we’re actively creating spaces that allow real relationships to form.
Two of the simplest and most effective ways we do that is through our Tables of 6 fellowship groups and our Sermon Discussion Groups. Singles or couples can join a table or group which meets at a mutually agreed upon time, place and schedule. Sharing meals. Sharing life. There are also a number of small groups which meet in peoples’ homes and on our beautiful campus.
For more information about Tables of Six or Sermon Discussion Groups contact: Pastor Hmingi Browne, 941.924.1323 ext. 221
A time, place and group for everyone. The space and support to develop authentic, life-giving friendships.
All Church of the Palms female members can enjoy the enriching benefits of participating in Presbyterian Women. Whether you join a circle (which is a small group that meets once a month), or attend a larger gathering, the Church of the Palms calendar is full of opportunities to meet real women, form great friendships, and explore the issues and challenges that are affecting your life.
Presbyterian Women is actively involved in a number of local missions and also contributes to global missions. The very heart of PW is the desire to, through the support of one another, grow closer to God and more fully into the woman you were created to be. Presbyterian Women hosts several wonderful events during the year in which everyone is invited.
