Sept. 17: Sabbath: Finding Rest, Renewal and Delight.
Led by Pastor Laurie. Drawing from her experience while away on Sabbatical, Laurie will explore the practice of Sabbath with practical applications for those of us who are working and those of us who are retired. We look forward to learning and sharing together about how to embrace this life-giving gift.

Nov. 5: When Helping Hurts

Dec. 3, 10, 17: Advent Series: God, Bethlehem & Hollywood
We’ll watch a Christmas movie at home and then gather together to discuss the themes that intersect with our life of faith. Popcorn provided! Led by Pastors Steve McConnell, Laurie Haas & Sarah Soboleski.

One Word
Lose the long list of resolutions! We will begin the process to choose one word that represents what you most hope God will do in you, and focus on it for an entire year. Led by Pastor Laurie Haas & Conor Peters.

Do Justice
Being human means, in part, experiencing the frustration and anger of injustice, and the sense of restoration and wholeness that comes with justice served. Through this practice, participants will find that Scripture is filled with the themes of liberating justice in ways that are bold and ways that are subtle, always returning to the need to bridge the gap between the world as it is and the world toward which God calls us.

Practice Generosity
Led by Pastor Steve McConnell and the Generosity Team.

Lenten Study: Love God, Neighbor, Enemy
Love of God and neighbor is not fully expressed if we are only loving when it is convenient or comfortable. We will explore the call to love through action by serving a stranger, showing mercy, washing another’s feet, being courageous, and living peaceably.
